Visual Comedian
Award-winning visual comedian, Chipper Lowell, blends original stand-up, bizarre magic, dangerous juggling, and split-second improv into each of his hilarious performances.
His childhood could also be considered equally as strange and off-center. He grew up traveling on circuses and arena shows with his 'show business' parents. Chipper's father was a professional clown and stage actor. His mother performed an "iron jaw" act, literally hanging by her teeth high above the crowds. As a youngster, Chipper was surrounded by a wide variety of circus, dance and vaudeville skills. Together, the family criss-crossed the globe, performing in the United States, Canada, Mexico, England, Austrailia and New Zealand.
Over the last twenty years Chipper has performed on a number of cruiseships around the globe and has established himself as a headliner in casino showrooms across the United States. Over the years, the redhead has racked up an impressive list of stage shows in Atlantic City, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, New York, Aruba and Nassau. Chipper has received "Best Specialty Act of the Year" awards from The Tahoe Tribune and Action Magazine. He also garnered "Comedy Magician of the Year" for 2004 from the International Magicians Society. The Los Angeles Times called him, "Frenetic, feverish & hilarious! A shameless crowd-pleaser!"
Chipper's unique personality has also won him guest appearances on such TV shows as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, General Hospital, America's Funniest People and The Disney Channel. He has also been seen in a variety of feature films like My Life, Time Changer, Larger Than Life and Six.
In addition to performing, Chipper also writes, directs and produces various projects for the stage, television, film and recording industries.
