Award-Winning Production Show “Fusion” Comes To River
Palms NightlyCombining a perfect blend of Magic, Comedy, and Illusion,
the newest production to hit Laughlin’s entertainment scene
is Fusion (www.fusionshow.com), appearing nightly except Tuesdays
in the new River Sands Theatre beginning November 8, 2006.
This award-winning production graced the stage of Lake Tahoe’s
Golden Cabaret for over 2 1⁄2 years, and boasted record attendance
by both young and old. From the Producers of other hit shows like
Las Vegas’ Dragapella and Forbidden Vegas, as well as Tahoe’s
Chipper Lowell Experience ,Phantasy, and Viva Vaudeville, Veteran
Producers Tony Clark and Paul Reder have once again assembled a
cast comprised of some the most talented, world-class headliners.
“We are extremely excited about bringing Fusion to the River
Palms in Laughlin. The three elements involved, Magic, Comedy, and
Grand Illusion, and the talent we’ve assembled for this production
creates a fun-packed treat for the senses”, said Paul Reder,
President of PR Entertainment, Inc.
Tony Clark of Tony Clark Productions, Inc. also serves as Director
of this sure-to-be hit. “The venue is perfect for this high-energy,
fast paced show. There isn’t a bad seat in the house. With
the talent we’ve cast for this show, the audience will certainly
feel complete and their time well spent.” Says Clark, who
himself has been noted as one of the countries leading Master Magicians.
The show stars Award-Winning Master Illusionists’ Joseph Gabriel
and Katalin (www.gabrielmagic.com) who have performed for audiences
around the world, and in virtually every major television magic
special, most notably the Command Performance for President Reagan.
Johnny Carson, kingpin of American late-night television, introduced
Joseph Gabriel, and what transpired on the “Tonight Show”
stage for the next several minutes was sufficient to amaze millions
of viewers and leave Carson himself visibly and vocally enthused.
“One of the classiest magic acts you’re going to see
in a long time! The best I’ve seen!” This was Carson’s
reaction after witnessing Joseph Gabriel’s first appearance
on the Tonight Show in 1983. Over the next several years, Joseph
would appear a total of seven times with Carson. Joseph Gabriel
made his Las Vegas debut fittingly in the most lavish show in town,
the “Lido de Paris” at the Stardust Hotel. Two years
later he was asked to be the starring act in ”City Lites”
a the Flamingo Hilton where he performed for ten consecutive years.
Joseph made a mega-leap from Las Vegas act to Broadway star, when
he created and opened his own full evening show entitled, “MAGIC
ON BROADWAY” in New York City. The show opened to rave reviews
and ran for and unprecedented 18 months. Within the first three
months, Joseph’s show broke all box office records at the
Lamb’s theatre.
Joining this cast is the comedy-juggling of Bryson Lang (www.brysonlang.com),
an original alumni of Fusion. Known as “the cure for the common
show”, his talents have graced such movies as Austin Powers
II and Batman and Robin. On the small screen Bryson has worked in
commercials for Hollywood Video and Ethiopian Airlines and performed
on a variety of television shows including: PAX TV’s “Master’s
of Illusion”; “The Extreme Gong Show”, where he
won first place on Live TV; the sitcom “That 70’s Show”;
and the series, “Charmed”.
Rounding out the show is the magic artistry of Danny Cole (www.dannycole.com).
Danny was twice voted "Stage Magician of the Year" by
the membership of the Magic Castle in Hollywood, he was a guest
performer on Lance Burton's second network special, he has consulted
and created magic for other magicians and he has been a featured
performer in Gala shows and at Variety Theaters around the globe.
Danny Cole's stylized approach to magic uses entirely new concepts
and principles thereby helping audiences to fully recognize magic's
place as a legitimate art form.Fusion will run nightly except Tuesdays
through March 2007 in the River Sands Theatre located inside the
River Palms Resort Casino. Show time is 7:30 p.m. nightly (except
Tuesdays). Tickets are only $14.95 + tax and are available at the
River Palms Box Office. For more information call the River Palms,
